Volunteer Opportunities

 

Family Care Volunteer

Description:  Family Care Volunteers (FCV) welcome clients and their non-offending family members to Willow Tree, interacting appropriately with families to provide comfort and support while maintaining client confidentiality. FCV provide supervision for clients in a fun, child-friendly, home-like environment; provide supervision for clients while at counseling sessions.

 

Requirements:  FCV must be available during the week, usually between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm. Must complete an availability sheet and be available on an on-call basis when appointments are scheduled. Emergency appointments do occur, and there may be times when little notice is given. Willow Tree can be loud, busy, and filled with children of all ages and developmental abilities; FCV must be able to function in this unique environment.

 

Administrative Support/Front Desk Volunteer

Description:  Front Desk Volunteers (FDV) welcome clients and their non-offending family members to Willow Tree and complete general office duties such as interacting with families, clients, and community partners that visit the center; answering the phone; scheduling appointments; and case file coordination.

 

Requirements:  FDV must be available during the week between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 am. FCV are needed in 4-hour shifts with a minimum requirement of two shifts per month. FDV must be able to multi-task and be comfortable with computers and office equipment. Willow Tree can be loud, busy, and filled with children of all ages and developmental abilities; FDV must be able to function in this unique environment.
